Computer Repair

Repair Questions

How long does a typical computer repair take?
Most repairs are completed the same day you bring your device in. More complex issues like data recovery or motherboard repair may take 24–48 hours. We'll give you an accurate time estimate after the free diagnosis.

Do you charge for diagnosis?
No — our diagnosis is completely free. We assess your device, identify the problem, and give you a firm quote before any work begins. You only pay if you decide to proceed with the repair.

Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are always welcome at our 385 Georgetown St location. No appointment needed. You can also call ahead or contact us online to let us know you're coming.

What brands and types of computers do you repair?

We repair all brands — Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, Toshiba, Microsoft Surface, and more. We service both Windows PCs and laptops. We do not currently service Apple Mac computers.

Is my data safe during repair?

Yes. We treat your data with the utmost care throughout every repair. We recommend backing up your data before any repair, and we can help with that too. We never access your personal files unless required for the repair.

Data Recovery

Data Recovery Questions

Can you recover data from a dead hard drive?

In many cases, yes. We use professional forensic imaging tools to recover data from failed, clicking, or corrupted drives. Success depends on the type and extent of damage. We'll assess your drive for free and tell you the recovery probability before charging anything.

What is the "No Data — No Fee" policy?

We only charge for data recovery if we successfully recover your files. If we cannot recover your data, you pay nothing — not even for the attempt. You'll also get to review a file listing before paying to confirm your important files are there.

How long does data recovery take?

Most data recovery jobs are completed within 24–72 hours. Emergency/rush service is available for same-day or next-day priority at an additional fee.

Are there long-term contracts for IT support?

No. All our managed IT plans are month-to-month with no long-term contracts. Cancel anytime with no penalties. We earn your business every month by delivering results.

How quickly do you respond to IT issues?

For remote issues, we typically respond within 1–2 hours during business hours. For onsite visits in the Lexington area, we aim for same-day or next-day service depending on availability and urgency.
